Ireland Lights Up
We are taking to the walkway this January and have registered to host Ireland Lights Up in partnership with RTE’s Operation Transformation 2024. We hope to see you all out joining us and clocking up those steps.
We will begin our walks next Sunday, January 14 at 9.30am at MJS Builds St James’ Park and would love to see you all out for a walk and chat. The walk will go around the Kilbeggan Circular. What better way to embrace a healthier lifestyle this January than with a club activity?
Padraig Carton
Congratulations to Padraig Carton who made his Westmeath senior debut off the bench in last Saturday’s O’Byrne Cup quarter-final against Longford in Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
Underage coaches sought
With the new season just around the corner, we are looking for extra help with our underage teams.
If anyone is interested in becoming an underage coach or mentor, you’ll first need to do a foundation (fundamental) course which we can organise depending on numbers.
Lotto
Last week’s lucky numbers were 13, 15, 23 and 27.
The Match 3 winners were Liam McDaniel and Rebecca Scally, while Elaine Rigney scooped €500 as our New Year’s Bonus Draw winner. Thanks to everyone for their support. The jackpot is capped at €15,000. You can purchase your tickets in local shops or online.
Wedding bells
Congratulations to our former manager Keith Higgins on his marriage to Aoife FitzGerald on New Year’s Eve. Wishing you both many years of health and happiness together!
