Dinner Dance
Rory O’Connor of Rory’s Stories fame has been confirmed as MC for our dinner dance which takes place on Saturday, February 24 in the Tullamore Court Hotel.
Starting with a drinks’ reception at 5.30pm, there will be a three-course meal followed by the presentation of JFC medals and music by The Lols with a DJ afterwards. Tickets, costing €60, can be purchased from any committee member or online at https://clubzap.com/public/products/16126/purchases/new
All are welcome to join us in celebrating a brilliant year.
Ireland Lights Up
We are taking to the walkway this January and have registered to host Ireland Lights Up in partnership with RTÉ’s Operation Transformation 2024.
There was a great turnout for our first walk around the Kilbeggan Circular last Sunday morning. The walks will continue for the next five Sundays, starting at 9.30am at MJS Builds St James’ Park.
What better way to embrace a healthier lifestyle this January than with a club activity?
Underage coaches sought
With the new season just around the corner, we are looking for extra help with our underage teams.
If anyone is interested in becoming an underage coach or mentor, you’ll first need to do a foundation (fundamental) course which we can organise depending on numbers. Please get in touch with Sabrina or Martina if interested.
Lotto
Last week’s lucky numbers were 10, 19, 22 and 23.
The Match 3 winners were Moss Keenan and Charlene Flaherty. Thanks to everyone for their support. The jackpot is capped at €15,000. You can purchase your tickets in local shops or online.
Sympathy
We extend our deepest sympathy to Noreen Wrafter and family, Ardnaglue on the passing on Noreen’s mother Kathleen Bracken, late of Kilcormac last weekend. May she rest in peace.
