ACFL Division 3 v Killucan
We received an early-season wake-up call at a bitterly cold Killucan last Friday night where the home side ran out comfortable 2-15 to 1-4 winners.
After drawing with St Joseph’s in the opening round, we never got going against a well-drilled Killucan outfit who had four points on the board before Darragh Coffey opened our account. Conor Carroll scored our only other first half point as the hosts took a 1-8 to 0-2 lead into the break.
Killucan extended their advantage after the restart before a Shaun Pidgeon goal in the 36th minute gave us a glimmer of hope. But the momentum remained firmly with the Saffrons who raised another green flag before Conor Delaney and Padraig Carton grabbed a couple of late consolation scores from frees.

Leinster League
We make our debut in the Leinster League with a home game against Offaly’s Walsh Island this Saturday, March 16 at 1pm. Our other group game will be away to Killoe Emmet Óg of Longford.
Lotto
All proceeds from last week’s lotto are going to the Declan Rogers fundraiser.
The lucky numbers were 2, 13, 25 and 26. The Match 3 winners were Sonny Carton and John Whelan. The jackpot is capped at €15,000. You can purchase your tickets in local shops or online.

All players must have membership in order to train, play matches or use our facilities. Payment can be made through our system on ClubZap.

Last Man Standing
Just one person was eliminated from our Last Man Standing National League competition after last weekend’s hurling games.
It means five people have made it through to Week 8 which is both hurling and football. Those still in the reckoning will receive instructions by email.
