Division 3 v Moate All-Whites
Our intermediate team suffered a 0-10 to 1-12 defeat away to Moate All-Whites in Division 3 of the All-County League last Thursday evening, May 16.
With Padraig Carton and James Finnegan in fine scoring form, we led by 0-7 to 0-5 at the break, but only managed three points in a disappointing second half display as the hosts fought back to take the win.

Division 6 v Tang
Our second team fought out an exciting 3-8 to 1-14 draw with Tang in Division 6 of the All-County League at MJS Builds St James’ Park last Tuesday evening, May 14.
Two goals from James Finnegan and another from Colm Heffernan were crucial after we had trailed by 2-1 to 0-8 at half-time.

Lotto
Last week’s lucky numbers were 4. 21, 22 and 25. There was no jackpot or Match 3 winners; Thomas McDaniel was the winner of the lucky dip draw.

Mothers & Others Pub Quiz
There was a fantastic turnout for a table quiz in aid of our Mothers & Others team’s upcoming trip to New York in McNamara’s Bar and Lounge last Friday night.
Twenty-eight tables took part and a great night was had by all.

Sympathy
We were saddened to learn of the passing of Des Kelleher, late of Kilbeggan and Maynooth, last weekend.
Des was a lovely amn who won a JFC medal with us in 1959. May he rest in peace.
