Due to a bereavement in the Ballynacargy club, our IFC Round 1 tie was postponed last Saturday and rescheduled for TEG Cusack Park on Monday evening at 7.30pm.
It means we face a quick turnaround to Round 2 against Maryland in Rochfortbridge next Saturday at 5.15pm. Tickets to all championship games can be purchased via www.universe.com/westmeathgaa
JFC B v Ballymore
Our juniors opened their championship campaign with a big win away to Ballymore last Monday evening, July 15.
Goals from Colm Heffernan (two) James Finnegan (two), Mel Kiernan, Padraig Carton and Cathal Finn propelled us to a surprisingly comfortable 7-12 to 0-11 victory.

Well done to our U14 and U12 girls' teams who produced excellent performances against Killucan and Ballymore respectively in the past week.
Cúl Camp
Good luck to all the children taking part in this week’s Kellogg’s Cúl Camp in Kilbeggan. No doubt they will all have a great time.

Last week’s lucky numbers were 3, 11, 15 and 26. There was no jackpot winner; the Match 3 winners were Heidi Pohl and Colm Connolly.
