The blitz takes place at Rocklands GAA club on Saturday with up to 800 women taking part from 37 clubs across Ireland, USA and Canada. The team are thrilled to represent their club and county in what promises to be a once-in-a-lifetime experience. A party of 15 will depart Dublin Airport (two have already jetted out!) on Thursday morning and return next Tuesday morning. Hope you all have a ball!

The club would like to take this opportunity to thank Nicky Finn for sponsoring training tops and t-shirts for the players and management.

Players: Nicola Finn, Aoife Finn, Aleisha Fitzgerald, Karen Kilduff, Cherie Tormey, Sheelagh Connor, Teresa Chester, Aoife Conroy, Sharon Heeney, Orlaith Heeney, Danielle Dennehy, Narelle Saward, Una Smith.

MFC semi-final

New Forest Gaels, the Kilbeggan-Tyrrellspass combination, will play their MFC Division 4 semi-final against Millmore Gaels in Milltown this Saturday at 3.30pm. Best of luck to the team.

Meanwhile, our U20s are also preparing for their championship semi-final against St Paul’s/Delvin. No fixture details are available yet. St Joseph’s await the winners in the final.

Ladies football champions

Congratulations to Kilbeggan sisters Laura and Emma Murphy on winning ladies football senior championship medals with St Loman’s last Saturday. The Mullingar club defeated Milltown in the final at TEG Cusack Park.

Lotto

Last week’s lucky numbers were 1, 2, 12 and 14. There was no jackpot winner; the Match 3 winners were Mary Fitzgerald and Fiona Snow.

This week’s jackpot is €11,050. You can take part in our lotto online or at Centra, Mace and Whelan’s. Seoidin Rochford is also selling tickets outside Centra or at matches in MJS St James' Park some weekends.
