MFC final v Multyfarnham

New Forest Gaels take on Multyfarnham in their MFC Division 4 final this Saturday, October 26 in Ballynacargy at 12.30pm.

All support for the Kilbeggan-Tyrrellspass combination in their quest for back-to-back minor titles would be greatly appreciated.

JFC ‘B’ v St Malachy’s

Our final group match against St Malachy’s in the JFC ‘B’ is scheduled for Sunday, November 10 at MJS Builds St James’ Park.

Throw-in is 11am. A win will qualify us for the semi-finals.

Dia de los Muertos Halloween Party

Kilbeggan Players and Kilbeggan Shamrocks are delighted to present their Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themed Halloween Party.

Get ready for a night to remember with a mix of fun and spooky vibes at Larrigy’s this Friday, October 25 at 9pm. The party will feature a dress-up competition, photo booth, themed cocktails, spooky music, photo scavenger hunt and raffle / auction.

Scór na nÓg

It’s that time of the year again when Scór na nÓg swings into action.

The semi-finals take place on Friday, November 1 and Saturday, November 2, followed by the county final on Sunday, November 10 in The Downs. Anyone interested in participating should contact Fiona at 087 945 8045 as soon as possible to register your entry.

Scór competitions are: Figure Dancing, Set Dancing, Solo Singing, Recitation, Ballad Group, Novelty Act, Instrumental Music and Question Time.

Lotto

Last week’s lucky numbers were 1, 16, 22 and 27. There was no jackpot winner; the Match 3 winners were Magdalena Mulawa and Aodhan McCormack.

This week’s jackpot is €11,350. You can take part in our lotto online or at Centra, Mace and Whelan’s. Seoidin Rochford is also selling tickets outside Centra or at matches in MJS St James' Park some weekends.

County finals

Congratulations to our neighbours Ballinagore on winning the Westmeath JFC2 title last weekend and commiserations to St Joseph’s on their JFC final loss to Castletown-Finea/Coole/Whitehall.

Best wishes to Castletown-Geoghegan in the Westmeath SHC final against Lough Lene Gaels next Sunday.
