Last Man Standing

Only six out of 117 entrants have made it through to Round 3 in our annual GAA Allianz League Last Man Standing competition.

After a whopping 74 entrants were eliminated in Round 1, a further 37 bowed out last weekend after Carlow’s shock hurling win over Waterford and Cavan’s defeat of Sligo. The casualty rate was also high in our losers’ competition for the players who were knocked out in the first round, with only four still standing. 

Seanad election

Congratulations to our vice-chairman Paul Daly who has been re-elected to the Seanad for another term.

Membership

Membership for 2025 is now due.

It’s that time of the year again when preparations for Scór Sinsir begin.

Ahead of the county finals on Sunday, March 9, we are looking for singers, dancers, actors, quiz participants or anyone who would like to help out. To register your interest, contact 086 170 2000.
