To all Mentors, members, parents, and supporters of Kilbeggan Shamrocks GAA Club.

It is with disappointment that we address a matter that goes against the values and spirit of our club. In recent weeks, there have been a small number of incidents involving verbal abuse directed at Mentors / volunteers.

Let us be absolutely clear: verbal abuse of any kind will not be tolerated in Kilbeggan Shamrocks GAA club.

Our club is built on respect, inclusion, and community. Every player, coach, referee, and volunteer—regardless of age or experience—deserves to be treated with dignity. We all share a responsibility to create a positive and supportive environment both on and off the field. If you feel things aren't going the way it should be , please join our committee , or we are always looking for more volunteers.

This practice must be upheld by all mentors. Collaborative work is expected, and any concerns or discussions involving groups outside your own must be addressed directly and respectfully with the lead mentor of the relevant group.

Going forward, any member found engaging in abusive behaviour may face disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from the club.

We ask all parents, guardians, and members to lead by example, to support one another, and to uphold the values that make Kilbeggan Shamrocks a place we can all be proud of.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Kind regards,
Adrian Carroll
On behalf of the Kilbeggan Shamrocks Executive Committee
