JFC ‘B’ v Rosemount

We opened our Junior ‘B’ Championship campaign with a defeat to Rosemount in perfect conditions for football last Sunday morning at MJS Builds St James’ Park.

After leading by two points at half-time, we were overtaken in the second half as the visitors left with the two points. All is not lost, however, as we still have three more group matches to play against Ballinagore, Shandonagh and St Mary’s, Rochfortbridge.

AGM

Our AGM takes place earlier than usual on Sunday, November 23 in SWEETS.

With chairperson Adrian Carroll, secretary James Claffey and treasurer Mel Kiernan all stepping down along with underage chairperson Martina Rochford and underage secretary Sabrina Nannery, there are a number of key positions on the executive to be filled. Nomination papers will be issued in the coming days.
