New season gets underway
Our two adult men’s teams return to action as the 2026 All-County Football Leagues commence this weekend.
With our pitch currently closed due to improvement works in one of the goalmouths, both fixtures are away from home. First up is a Division 5 meeting with Ballymore on Saturday at 3pm. That is followed by a longer trip to Bunbrosna on Sunday morning (throw-in 10.30pm) in Division 3. Best of luck to both teams as they get their seasons underway.
Lotto jackpot won
Congratulations to Adrian Carroll on winning the lotto jackpot of €15,000 last week.
The former club chairperson matched 4, 7, 17 and 19 online to scoop the jackpot. There were also four Match 3 winners – Joe Coffey, Enda Fox, Sophie Murray and Brendan Buggy.
This week’s jackpot is €6,200. Make sure to buy your tickets online or at Centra, Mee's Costcutter and Whelan’s. Tickets are also on sale outside Centra every Saturday and Sunday. Thank you for your continued support.
Last Man Standing
Antrim’s heavy football defeat to Longford claimed several casualties in our annual GAA National League Last Man Standing competition last weekend.
Heading into Week 5, there are now just 17 people left in the main competition and 15 remaining in the second chance competition.
