Men’s league fixtures
After last weekend’s All-County League Division 3 and 5 Round 1 fixtures against Bunbrosna and Ballymore respectively both fell victim to the incessant rain, we’re hoping this weekend’s Round 2 games will go ahead.
With our pitch currently closed due to improvement works in one of the goalmouths, both are away from home. First up is a Division 3 meeting with Multyfarnham under lights on Friday at 8pm. That is followed by a longer trip to Castletown-Finea/Coole/Whitehall on Sunday morning (throw-in 11pm) in Division 5. Best of luck to both teams.
Lotto
Last week’s lucky numbers were 5, 19, 25 and 27. There was no jackpot winner. The Match 3 winners were Henry Whitston and Louise & Mary in Londis.
This week’s jackpot is €6,350. Make sure to buy your tickets online or at Centra, Mee's Costcutter and Whelan’s. Tickets are also on sale outside Centra every Saturday and Sunday. Thank you for your continued support.
Last Man Standing
The casualty rate was low in Week 5 of our annual GAA National League Last Man Standing competition.
Three people were eliminated from the main competition last weekend, meaning 14 have made it through to Week 6. Meanwhile, there are 13 remaining in the second chance competition after just two fell by the wayside.
Next weekend is another double football and hurling one.
