Underage fundraiser car wash
A car wash in aid of our juvenile section will take place at Centra this Saturday, April 25 from 9am to 5pm.
We are looking for volunteers to help out for an hour or two, and for parents and the wider community to support this vital fundraiser. Thanks as always to Ronan McCarthy of Centra for accommodating us and his ongoing support.
Lotto
Last week’s lucky numbers were 4, 8, 16 and 19. There was no jackpot winner. The Match 3 winners were Myra Pettit, Shauna Ryan, Fr Brendan Corrigan, Caroline Kelly, Martin Scally, Angela Farrell and Sinead Egan.
Tickets are also on sale outside Centra every Saturday and Sunday. Thank you for your continued support.
Race Day
After a hugely successful inaugural event last year, we will once again be hosting a Race Day on Friday, May 15.
The event at Kilbeggan Races will feature a marquee with live music, raffles and various competitions. Last year, we honoured our 2000 men’s intermediate champions and this year it’s the turn of our 2004 junior ladies football winners. The team went on to win the intermediate championship in 2005 before contesting the senior final against St Loman’s in 2006.
Sympathy
Deepest sympathy is extended to the Coffey family on the passing last week of Nollaig O'Toole (née Coffey), late of Dublin Road, Kilbeggan and Darlington, UK.
May she rest in peace.
