Darkness into Light
It's that time of the year again.
Darkness into Light takes place this Saturday, May 9 and we will be meeting at 4.15am in St James' Hall for a 5km fundraising walk, with refreshments served afterwards. Everyone in the community is welcome to take part.
Race Day
After a hugely successful inaugural event last year, we will once again be hosting a Race Day on Friday, May 15 from 4pm.
The social outing at Kilbeggan Races will feature a marquee with live music from Jiggers of Éireann, raffles, best dressed lad and lady, and various other competitions. Last year, we honoured our 2000 men’s intermediate champions and this year it’s the turn of our 2004 and ’05 junior and intermediate ladies football winners. The same team went on to contest the senior final against St Loman’s in 2006.
Tickets cost €25 each and can be purchased from Kelly Ann at 086 354 0476 or Colin at 086 158 3440. You must be 18 or over to attend this event.
