Division 3 v Shandonagh
After two draws and two one-point defeats in their last four games, our Division 3 team eked out a much-needed victory over Shandonagh at St James’ Park last Saturday evening to get their promotion bid back on track.
A last-gasp Darragh Coffey two-pointer secured a dramatic 1-18 to 2-13 win after it had looked like the shares would be spoiled. Darragh’s younger brother Micheál also slotted a pair of two-pointers in a game that Shandonagh led by 1-6 to 0-7 at half-time.
Nothing less than a win against Ballymore in the last round will suffice in our quest to earn promotion to Division 2 next season.

Division 5 v Castledaly and Milltownpass

They also raised three green flags through Jacob Browne, James Finnegan and Dean Fitzgerald against Milltownpass at St James’ Park on Sunday morning, but it wasn’t enough as the visitors prevailed on a 1-20 to 3-10 scoreline.
